シアターキノ - THEATER KINO
シアターキノは、1992年にオープンした札幌にあるミニシアター。街の芸術文化を刺激し、支え続けている、札幌の文化を語る上で欠かすことのできない場所です。3KGの佐々木は映写技師のアルバイトとしてシアターキノで働き、大学生時代のほとんどを映写室で過ごしました。美術やデザインの専門的な教育を受けていない佐々木にとっては、映画館が学校で、そこに集まる個性的な仲間たちが同級生でした。それから20年以上が経ちますが、3ヵ月ごとに発行されるムービーラインナップのデザインに関わり続け、30周年の記念誌の制作に関われているのは嬉しいことです。
オーナーの中島洋・ひろみ夫妻と出会い、「自分が好きなこと信じて生きていけばいいんだ」と思えたことが、グラフィックデザイナーを目指し、3KGが生まれ、D&DEPARTMENT HOKKAIDOや庭ビルが生まれることに繋がっています。
THEATER Kino is a mini-theater in Sapporo opened in 1992. It has stimulated and supported the art and culture of Sapporo, and now it is an essential place of Sapporo culture. Sasaki of 3KG spent most of his college years in its projection room since he worked there as a part-timer. For Sasaki, the place seemed like his school and unique friends gathered there were like his classmates because he had no specialized education in art or design. More than 20 years later, he is so happy that we can continue to be involved in creating the Movie Lineup published every three months and the 30th anniversary commemorative magazine.
Encountering with owners, Mr. Yo and Ms.Hitomi Nakajima, made him realize that he could live what he loves and that’s how he became a graphic designer and started 3KG, D&DEPARTMENT HOKKAIDO and Niiiwa building.

3ヵ月ごとに発行されている上映作品をまとめた冊子。1992年の開館以来、とぎれることなく発行され続けています。200号を記念して特別号を制作するのが楽しみです。
This booklet published every three months summarizes the films screened. It has been published without rest since the museum opened in 1992. We look forward to producing a special edition 200th issue.

This special edition was published in 2015 to commemorate their 100th issue. You can't miss the special section given its "100th" and the film schedule we seriously envisioned for July-September 2092, the 100th anniversary.

シアターキノの30周年記念誌。 41人の映画監督や評論家などが若い世代に勧める「若き日の映画」のエッセイ集。中島洋さん・ひろみさんからの依頼は、10〜20代に向けてメッセージを送りたい、わかりやすい本にしたいわけではない、むしろ混乱させたいというものでした。いろいろな紙を使い、縦組み横組みが入り乱れたデザインです。
This is the commemorative publication for THEATER Kino's 30th anniversary. It consists of a collection of essays by 41 filmmakers and critics on the theme of "films they recommend to see when you are young" for the younger generation. Mr.Hiroshi and Ms.Hiromi Nakajima asked us to create a book for teens and twenties, not easy to understand, but rather to confuse them. The book uses a variety of papers and layouts both vertical and horizontal writing intricately.
